Peter Blakeman

Peter is a retired industrial chemist and worked at the European Technical Centre in St Neots of a division of a US based chemical company originally on research and development but for the final 10 years as European Technical Co-ordinator.

Peter has lived in Brickhill for 50 years. He joined the Brickhill Urban Community Council in 2000 and was elected as a councillor in 2004 when it became a Parish Council. For last eleven years he has been the Chair of the Planning Committee.

Since an early age Peter has been interested in sustainable transport - buses, cycling and trains – evolving over the years into environment, road safety and highway infrastructure.
